Each session explores a new topic within the fascinating world of printmaking, perfect for enthusiasts and anyone eager to learn more about these techniques. Space is limited, so please secure your spot in advance.
This fall, we’re kicking off in September with “Drypoint Intaglio,”. Each month we will discover another type of printmaking. All materials will be included.

Cet automne, nous débutons en septembre avec « La pointe sèche en taille-douce ». Chaque mois, nous découvrirons une nouvelle technique de gravure. Tout le matériel est inclus.

Try Dry point with me! It is an elemental and immediate form of intaglio printmaking technique. This introductory workshop will allow you to experience firsthand printing your own plate, inking it, and using the etching press. You will go back home with your very own signed and numbered limited edition. Materials provided.

ATELIER de GRAVURE À LA POINTE SÈCHE
Initiez-vous à la pointe sèche avec moi ! C’est une technique de gravure en creux simple et immédiate. Cet atelier d’initiation vous permettra de découvrir la gravure de votre propre plaque, son encrage et l’utilisation de la presse à gravure. Vous repartirez avec votre propre exemplaire signé et numéroté, en édition limitée. Tout le matériel fourni.

Turn your leftover packaging into works of art! In this workshop, you will be introduced to designing a plate using Tetra-Pak as the substrate, inking it, and printing it! You'll discover an affordable and environmentally friendly form of printmaking. During our time together, you will generate one or two prints in one colour, or two or more.

Transformez vos emballages usagés en œuvres d’art ! Dans cet atelier, vous apprendrez à concevoir une plaque en utilisant le papier Tetra-Pak comme support, à l’encrer et à l’imprimer ! Vous découvrirez une technique de gravure économique et écologique. Durant l’atelier, vous réaliserez une ou deux estampes en une couleur, ou deux ou plus. Tout le matériel fourni.

In this introduction to linocut workshop, you will learn how to design, carve and print your own linocut block. You will learn about safety, inks, paper, tools and the fascinating world of printmaking. By the end of our working day, you will go back home with your finished block and several hand-carved relief prints.

INTRODUCTION À LA LINOCUT
Dans cet atelier d’initiation à la linogravure, vous apprendrez à concevoir, graver et imprimer votre propre bloc de linogravure. Vous découvrirez les règles de sécurité, les encres, le papier, les outils et le monde fascinant de la gravure. À la fin de notre journée de travail, vous repartirez avec votre bloc gravé et plusieurs estampes en relief réalisées à la main. Tout le matériel fourni.

Have you ever tried Gelli printing? It has its secrets and can be tricky, but it is a lot of fun! This workshop will take you through experimenting with paper, stencils, and charcoal; transferring images; learning about paints and brayers; and wanting to experiment more. You will go home with finished papers you designed and beautiful, unique monotype prints. All materials are provided.

Avez-vous déjà essayé la gravure avec plaque de Gélatine? C’est une technique qui a ses secrets et qui peut s’avérer délicate, mais elle est aussi très amusante ! Cet atelier vous guidera dans l’expérimentation avec le papier, les pochoirs et le fusain ; le transfert d’images ; la découverte des peintures et des rouleaux ; et vous donnera envie d’explorer davantage cette technique. Vous repartirez avec des papiers que vous aurez conçus et de magnifiques monotypes uniques. Tout le matériel fourni.
