ART AFTER DARK OCTOBER

$65.00

This October, our featured art project will celebrate the vibrant tradition of Día de los Muertos. Using acrylic paint on canvas, some bling, and flowery embellishments, we’ll create striking images of sugar skulls (calaveras) or catrinas, both iconic symbols of this cultural celebration that honor the beauty and significance of the Day of the Dead. Each participant will have the opportunity to explore bold colors, intricate patterns, and details, making their artwork personal and distinctive.

Dressing up in a costume is encouraged as an early celebration of Halloween, and there might be a surprise for those who opt for that approach.

Whether you choose to paint a classic sugar skull or a graceful Katrina (I will explain the difference and provide the materials according to your choice), this project is perfect for artists of all experience levels and anybody willing to have a lot of fun.
